Smile Break Ideas for the Classroom - A Brain Break Strategy

Smile Break Ideas for the Classroom - A Brain Break Strategy

What is a smile break?

A smile break is a simple visual brain break for both students and teacher.

A visual smile break can be displayed in a basic PowerPoint file and either shown on a computer, overhead or SmartBoard.

I have to credit this fantastic idea to an Australian teacher, Marg D

As adults, we often take time out or are often distracted by images on the net that make us smile and sometimes chuckle. We all love those funny Facebook posts, emails from friends, Youtube videos and images not to mention Pinterest images.

I have set up a Pinterest board and called it 'Smile Break Ideas'. It has been fun collecting images from the net and keeping them all in one place ready to use.

Click here to see Clever Classroom's 'Smile Break Ideas' on Pinterest.

Save the images and insert them into a PowerPoint document. Your class will enjoy the quick brain break whilst smiling and even laughing!

Here are some images that I have collected over the past year.
